Led by our Technical Director, Don Fletcher, who brings decades of experience in manufacturing and software development, CompleXion has been engineered entirely in-house, from concept to production. This approach ensures precision, reliability and innovation specifically designed for accurate skin tone measurement.
From Cosmetic Innovation to Dermatology
The cosmetic applications of CompleXion were developed through a ten-year collaboration with a leading manufacturer of Camouflage Cosmetics. This partnership strengthened our understanding of the challenges involved in accurately matching products to diverse skin tones.
Building on this foundation, we recognised the natural extension to dermatological applications. The same principles of precise, objective colour measurement used in cosmetic matching are also valuable for assessing skin conditions, monitoring changes over time and supporting clinical evaluation.
Working closely with leading dermatologists, we have incorporated specialised functions that address key dermatological needs. Dermatology remains an exciting and evolving area of development for us.
